Born in 1969 in Budapest, Hungary<\/p>\n
Studied singing from 1987 at the Bela Bart\u00f3k Conservatory in Budapest, then from 1989 at the Conservatory in Vienna in the subjects of solo singing with Prof. Margarete Bence and song and oratorio with Prof. David Lutz, graduating with honours in 1993<\/p>\n
During his studies, he was a member of the ORF Choir Vienna from 1989 to 1993, performing as a soloist and focussing on contemporary music. He was subsequently a member of the ensemble at the Komische Oper Berlin until 1997 and at the Bonn Opera until 1999.<\/p>\n
Guest engagements at renowned festivals such as the Salzburg Festival (\u2018Die Fledermaus\u2019), the Schwetzingen Festival (\u2018Figlio del selve\u2019), the Bayreuth Festival (\u2018Parsifal\u2019 directed by Christoph Schlingensief), the Budapest Wagner Festival (Ring), the Herrenchiemsee Festival (\u2018Falstaff\u2019) and the Vienna Schubert Weeks (\u2018Alfonso and Estrella\u2019) as well as at numerous theatres such as the Bavarian State Opera (premiere of \u2018Bernada Alba’s House\u2019 under Zubin Mehta, \u2018Arabella\u2019), the St\u00e4dtische B\u00fchnen M\u00fcnster (\u2018Der Rosenkavalier\u2019), the Turku Concert Hall (\u2018Don Giovanni\u2019), the Komische Oper Berlin (most important Mozart roles) and the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples (\u2018Parsifal\u2019)<\/p>\n
Regular guest with major European orchestras such as the Chapelle Royal, Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, WDR and HR Radio Orchestras, Concentus Musicus Vienna, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Royal Flemish Philharmonic and others.<\/p>\n

Collaboration with directors such as Christoph Schlingensief, Harry Kupfer, Christine Mielitz, Hans Neuenfels, Manfred Beilharz and Andreas Homoki as well as with conductors Zubin Mehta, Pierre Boulez, Phillipe Herreweghe, Helmut Rilling, Nicolaus Harnoncourt, Adam Fischer, Peter Schneider, Herbert Blomstedt and others.<\/p>\n
